the proof is in how phenomenally competent the mac version is bersus how pathetic the PC version is (even after all these years). sorry to have to say it, but that is my experience. Until they take the time to address PC users and take a long, hard look at their design philosophy, taking end users into account, they will remain an elitist mac fan club. in all my interactions over the years with renewed vision, i have encountered an arrogance about their mac position - mac is better to them and they don't want to acknowledge that for many people mac is not an option. PC is fantastically cheaper than mac, and is a far better bang for buck proposition - especially for a church, where every bit of money is to be spent accountably. It is a real shame that even after all these years renewed vision couldn't be bothered to cater for PC. not all the mobile apps work with the windows versions.these work fine on an entry-level mac but are a nightmare on PC. things such as slow UI elements (like painfully laggy drag-and-drop), and awful mouse scrolling implementation (different scrolling speeds in different panes). the PC version is sluggish and glitchy even on a top-end PC.(core 2 duo vs i5(!!!), 4GB vs 8GM RAM, no grpahics card vs just take a look at the minimum specs required for the mac vs the PC versions to see how badly it has been written for windows. the PC version runs stupidly inefficiently on a PC.these two ecosystems work and think in ways that are massivelyt different to each other, and no effort has been made to address this in the PC version. all the processes are in a mac mindset instead of a PC mindset.certain screens in the PC version are just straight ports of the mac version, with navigation icons (like closing a window) placed in the standard mac positions instead of the standard PC (windows) positions.the requirement of installing the catastrophically resource-hogging itunes is ludicrous, especially if one is not subscribed to apple music but rather a different music provider.we were forced to spend the $$$ on apple hardware becasue of how poor the PC version is.
i use propresenter on both multiple macs and multiple PCs. The PC version of propresenter is amateur at best.
